Downton Holiday Park

Downton Holiday Park has been awarded a four star rating from the English Tourism Council.

This small, peaceful holiday park is situated between the New Forest and the coast, near to Milford-On-Sea.

There are only 75 caravans on the park and pride is taken, both by the site owners and private caravan owners, in keeping everything clean and tidy.

For the benefit of holiday guests there is a laundry, public telephone, re-cycling centre and children's playground on the park.

A well-stocked supermarket with off-licence is open on the adjacent Shorefield Country Park which is just a short walk from the caravan. The Shorefield Club, with its bar, restaurant and take-away food kiosk is open to guests of Downton Holiday Park. Also, temporary membership of the Shorefield Leisure Club (daily or weekly) is available at a very reasonable charge, giving guests access to the gym, heated swimming pools and other sports facilities.

There is a woodland walk a few minutes from the park leading to the cliff-top and beach. The cliff-top path has views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight and the Needles, or on into the village of Milford-on-Sea where there are shops, several public houses and restaurants.
